SimpliHi provides software tools and APIs that enable Customers to communicate with End Users over WhatsApp and other channels. SimpliHi does not initiate messaging on its own behalf.

2. Roles and Responsibilities

In most cases:

Customers act as the Data Controller for End User data.

SimpliHi acts as a Data Processor or Service Provider, processing personal data only on documented instructions from the Customer.

Customers are responsible for:


  • Obtaining lawful consent and opt in from End Users
  • Providing privacy notices to their users
  • Ensuring their campaigns comply with WhatsApp policies and applicable laws
